The scarves remain but some of the other accessories Watford fans wore to matches has changed as these pictures from the early 1960s demonstrate.

Burgess' side made the short trip to East London in November 1961 for a second round tie and returned home with a 3-1 victory, but their cup run that season was to end with a 3-2 defeat at Preston North End in the next round
