Update: As of 3pm police have confirmed the man has been identified and returned to his family

Police are appealing for help identifying a confused elderly Chinese man found wandering the streets in Bromley. 

The man was found on Downham Way shortly after 2am this morning and taken to a police station, where he is safe and well.

His name may or may not be ‘Lam’ or ‘Petak’

Police are keen to hear from anyone who can identify the man so that officers can return him to his home.

Anyone who knows him is asked to call police on 101, quoting CAD 633/23Oct.
