A woman had to be cut out of the wreckage of a six-vehicle pile-up in Dartford on Friday night.
Kent Fire and Rescue said they were called to a car crash on the A2/A282 coastbound in Dartford just before midnight on Friday,October 16.
Kent Police, Highways England and South East Coast Ambulance Service joined firefighters at the crash scene, and found a woman trapped inside.
Hydraulic rescue equipment including cutting tools, hydraulic spreaders and the 'Jaws of Life' were used to "make the scene safe and assist paramedics with her release."
Around six cars were involved in the crash near Dartford Heath, and two other people were injured.
Emergency services added that at least one person was taken to hospital, but no one is thought to be seriously hurt.
The A2 carriageway was closed from midnight whilst the vehicles and debris was removed, and the road was reopened at around 2:30am.
