Police have charged multiple men from south east London in connection with county lines drug supply following a raid at a caravan site in Kent.

Kent Police said seven people were arrested on Thursday, October 8, after simultaneous warrants were executed on at a number of addresses, including a caravan site off Hythe Road, Romney Marsh.

The suspects were arrested by officers from the County Line and Gang Team, who have been investigating a suspected line running out of London and into east Kent.

On top of the arrests, a number of phones linked to the alleged distribution of heroin and crack cocaine were seized, and quantities of Class A drugs and cash were also recovered.

Two men from Bexleyheath and a man from Charlton have since been charged with the supply of Class A drugs.

These are Daniel Lewington, 29, of Dorothy Evans Close, Bexleyheath, who is charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, as well as possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

William Bridge, 23, of Charlton Park Lane, Charlton, Anardo Iremiren, 24, of Dorothy Evans Close, Bexleyheath, and Kaseem Ibrahim, 31, of no fixed address have all been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

The suspects appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 10 October, where they were remanded in custody. They will next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 9 November.

The other suspects, three women aged in their 20s and 30s, were released pending further investigation.
