The driver of a road sweeper was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash with a lorry on the M25 near Orpington.
Shortly after 5am this morning the sweeper and lorry, with crane attached, collided on the anti-clockwise carriageway between junctions four and five.
Police attended the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service
The road remains closed whilst officers investigate the circumstances of the collision.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and, where possible, use alternative routes.
