The M25 has been closed near Orpington following a crash between two vehicles.
A road sweeper and crane collided on the anticlockwise carriageway at around 5.30am between Junction 5 for the M26 and Junction 4 for Orpington.
Traffic has been held at a standstill for five and a half hours.
The clockwise carriageway has reopened, having been closed briefly to allow an air ambulance to land.
