Police are treating the death of an elderly man in an Orpington house as 'unexplained.'
Officers were first called at 8.45am to reports of an unresponsive individual at a residence on Crofton Road.
Ambulance services soon attended, pronouncing a man, thought to be in his 70s, dead at the scene.
His next of kin are aware.
Another person was assesed at the scene, but did not need treatment.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.49am today (23 September) to reports of an incident at a residential property on Crofton Road, Orpington.
"We sent two ambulance crews, an incident response officer and our hazardous area response teams. The first of these were at the scene in under five minutes.
"Sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was assessed by medics, but did not need to be taken to hospital."
