FIVE men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a double stabbing in Croydon.
Police were called to reports of a fight in the area of Wandle Park at around 9.15 pm on September 12.
Officers attended and found a male, believed to be in his 20s, suffering from stab injuries on Waddon New Road.
He was taken to hospital and his condition is now said to be stable.
Four men, all in their 20s, were arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder.
Police continued to search the area and stopped a vehicle on Duppas Hill Lane.
Another man in his 20s was found with a stab injury, he was taken to hospital and later discharged.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
All five suspects remain in custody.
