There were no serious injuries after a van overturned on the A2 near Gravesend in a 'multi-vehicle collision'.
The A2 coastbound at Gravesend East was closed around 4pm on Wednesday, September 9, after reports a crash.
It emerged that there had been a multi-vehicle collision near the Marling Cross Interchange.
Pictures show several cars damaged and a van overturned on the major road.
Police and ambulance services attended the scene at around 4:20pm and closed the road coastbound, causing delays.
Remarkably, there were no serious injuries reported following the crash, and the road was fully reopened at 6:30pm.
Kent Specials snapped some photos of the crash after coming across the collision on their way home.
"Just because Special Constables are not 'On Duty' does not mean we stop all responsibilities.
"On the way home from my full time job I come across this RTC, made sure everyone is safe and close the road until units arrive."
