Police investigating the murder of a 34-year-old who died after being struck by van following a mass brawl in Chislehurst have charged five men.

Frankie Bulbrook was found with fatal injuries in a park area of Belmont Lane and Imperial way on Friday, July 24. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 9.30pm.

Alfie Tullett, 32, of Catlyn Close, East Malling, was charged with murder in late July.

Yesterday, five men were charged by postal requisition with violent disorder.

They are: Jorge Blackman, 30 of Cadwallon Road, SE9, Ben Alexander, 27, of Crofton Road, Orpington, Bromley, Tommy Rose 25 of Dorrit Way, Chislehurst, Alfie Boyles, 22 of Imperial Way, Chislehurst and Harry Boyles, 25, of Imperial Way, Chislehurst.

All five are summonsed to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on Friday, 18 September.

Police were initially called to reports of ten men fighting outside the Gordon Arms pub, before they were alerted to the nearby crash minutes later. 

They are treating the two incidents as linked. 

A post-mortem examination found the cause of Mr Bulbrook’s death to be multiple injuries to the chest and the back.

Two men, aged 30 and 26, were treated in hospital after they were found with stab injuries outside the Gordon Arms pub, before both were arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 30-year-old was discharged into custody and released under investigation.

A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has since been released with no further action.

Another man, aged 25, arrested on suspicion of murder and violent disorder on July 29, has been released under investigation.
