Police are investigating after gunshots were heard on the Greenwich Peninsula late on the Bank Holiday Monday.
Footage has captured a group of males being chased by other males along Christchurch Road near the Cutty Sark when one of those running away turns and fires behind him.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the incident happened after the group of males attempted to steal a car.
Met Police say they were called to Christchurch Way, near the junction of Trafalgar Road, in south east London at around 00:45am on August 31.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area, and carried out enquiries.
According to police, there were no reports of any injuries, and no arrests have yet been made.
