Eight people have been arrested and Tasers, drugs and cash seized following a series of police raids in south east London on Wednesday (August 19).
Six men and two women, aged between 21 and 61, were arrested following the raids on suspicion of drugs-supply offences.
The raids market the third phase of an intelligence-led operation from the Met Police, targeting gangs, drug dealing and associated violence in south London.
Police from the Met's South basic Command Unit (BCU) carried out nine warrants at addresses in Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth and Chelmsford with support from the Territorial Support Group.
The raids saw an imitation firearm, two Tasers, a quantity of Class A and B drugs and approximately £5,000 cash seized by officers.
Eight people were arrested, and all suspects are currently in custody at a south London police station.
Searches remain ongoing.
