At least 10 new cases of Covid-19 coronavirus have been confirmed in Lewisham in recent days amid an uptick in the number of reported cases across the UK.
According to the most recent data from Public Health England (PHE), the new cases of the virus were confirmed as positive tests between August 5-11.
Six cases in the borough were confirmed in the Loampit and Hilly Fields post code in Lewisham, according to PHE.
A further four cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the Catford East area, according to PHE's latest 'dashboard' centre that tracks confirmed cases across the country.

The data showed there were meanwhile three more coronavirus cases confirmed in area North of Lewisham, in Greenwich and Deptford Creekside, between August 5-11.
The only other cases of Covid-19 confirmed between August 5-11 in the area were reported in the Slade Green and Crayford Marshes, where three new cases of the virus were confirmed.
The new cases arrived as Lewisham Council continued to warn residents over the threat posed by coronavirus even as lockdown measures in the country and the borough were eased.
Femi Komolafe and Aaliyah Odedina, the Young Mayor and Deputy Young Mayor of Lewisham, highlighted the ways residents can continue to stay safe and protect others during the ongoing pandemic.
"If you feel unwell it is crucial that you get yourself tested as soon as possible. Don't wait.
"Remember to wear your face masks in shops and on public transport, and whenever you're unable to socially distance.
"I wear mine to protect you, therefore you should wear yours to protect me. Otherwise others could be at risk," the pair said in a video posted by Lewisham Council to Twitter recently.
The cases arrived in Lewisham amid fears of a second wave in Europe after countries including Greece and France reported a sharp uptick in the number of daily confirmed cases of Covid-19.
In the UK also, after a number of days with a low plateau of confirmed cases, figures began to show daily increases again according to PHE.
