THE team at Salisbury’s St Mark’s Pre-School have handed over the reins of their latest ad campaign to a host of mini ‘Mad Men’.

Like the famous television series, children at the pre-school were challenged with designing an advert as part of a drive to recruit some new friends for the next academic year – and the fantastic results feature in the Journal.

When asked what they wanted to include in their advert, the children’s responses were as varied as their imaginations, and ranged from “Playing with friends” and “Cooking and building” to “Pretending to be superheroes” and “Experimenting with ice.”

Manager Rachel Schendel said: “We are passionate about offering a stimulating, fun and caring environment and are so pleased that the children’s contributions to the advert reflect that.

“We would love to welcome more children in the Autumn, especially those aged between three to five years of age for whom we have plenty of space, to come and play, make friends and play superheroes – and much more!”

St Mark’s Pre-School is alongside Wyndham Park Infants’ School and St Mark’s Junior School, and is rated Good by Ofsted.
