A man reportedly in 20s is in hospital after being shot in Croydon early this morning.
Police were called to London Road, near West Croydon Station, at around 1.40am this morning (August 1) to reports of a gunshot.
Armed officers were scrambled to the scene along with regular police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service.
Upon arriving at the scene, a man, thought to be in his 20s, was found with a gunshot wound.
A spokesman for Met Police said he was taken to hospital, though his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
No arrests had been made as of 11am, but police said an investigation was ongoing.
