Ben White has thanked Leeds United and their supporters for the memories.

The Albion defender played a starring role as Marcelo Bielsa’s side won the Championship title.

He is also one of the players chairman Tony Bloom says have done “particularly well” on loan this season.

In an Instagram post, White wrote: “Having had some time to reflect on what has been the most incredible season I wanted to take the time to thank everyone associated with Leeds United Football Club, including the incredible supporters.

“No matter what happens from here I will never forget the way you took me in and treated me as one of your own from day one.

"These memories and experiences will be with me forever."

Bloom has been impressed by the efforts of White and others who spent the campaign way from the Amex.

But he declined to talk about contractual issues.

Bloom told The Argus: “A lot of our players on loan have done particularly well both in the Championship and Bundesliga 2, very strong leagues.”

Albion have shown faith in players from the Championship this term, notably Dan Burn, Adam Webster and Neal Maupay.
