Three males have been arrested by officers in a police operation at Dartford train station.
Two adult males were taken into custody, as well as a juvenile from Belvedere who allegedly assaulted a railway enforcement officer.
Police were deployed at Dartford station on Friday night (July 24) under Operation Avara, a project targeting antisocial behaviour and crime on south east London's transport network.
The operation also say four other people found in possession of drugs which were dealt with and disposed.
Three people were taken into custody, including one adult male from Dartford who was arrested for having a knife in his possession.
Another man from Dartford was found to be wanted for questioning in relation to a grievous bodily harm with intent offence dating back to 2019.
The third arrest was a male juvenile from Belverdere who was arrested for assault following an incident where he is alleged to have assaulted a railway enforcement officer after a disturbance on a train entering Dartford.
All three are in custody at North Kent Police Station.
The deployment was run by Bexley Police teams and British Transport Police, expanded on Friday to include Kent Police too.
Operation Avara has been a long-running police campaign targeting major south east London commuter stations.
The project has involved weapons arches and police dogs, with police and the BTP targeting criminals using the transport system.
