The victim of a stabbing in St Paul's Cray was rushed to a major trauma centre this afternoon.

Ambulance services were called to Hoblingwell Wood Recreation Ground, Mickleham Road, at 3.34pm following reports of a stabbing.

A patient was treated to the scene and rushed to a major trauma centre "as a priority."

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.34pm this afternoon (June 19) to reports of a stabbing Mickleham Road, Bromley.

“We sent an ambulance crew, a medic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. The first medic arrived on scene in less than six minutes.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

Police are yet to confirm whether any arrests have been made, although they were pictured at the scene.

Bromley MPS tweeted that they were 'dealing with an incident' at Hoblingwell Wood Recreation Ground.

They also announced a section 60 order is in place across the entire borough of Bromley for 24 hours.

A section 60 order grants additional powers, allowing police to stop and search anyone without reasonable grounds.

The Police have been contacted for comment.
