Police are appealing for witnesses after a multi-car collision in Gravesend, with one man take to hospital and later arrested.

One man arrested and then taken to hospital over dangerous driving after two cars collided in Gravesend, sending them into a row of other cars and a wall.

Police are now appealing for witnesses of the multi-car collision or has dashcam footage of the incident.

Kent Police say that on June 14, around 6:40pm, a silver Mercedes E350 collided with a grey BMW 320D at the junction with Lennox Road.

The Mercedes then spun off and crashed into four stationary vehicles and a wall in Pelham Road.

Arriving at the scene, police arrested a 31-year-old from Gravesend on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The man then had to be taken to hospital with injuries, but was later discharged and remains in police custody.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the car in the moments before the collision or who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
