A woman died following an incident in Bexleyheath to which an air ambulance was dispatched.
The helicopter was seen landing on a grassy area near Long Lane shortly after 11am.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, a woman died at the scene.
Police said the death was non-suspicious.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 10:59am today (11 June) to reports of an incident Long Lane, Bexleyheath.
"We dispatched an incident response officer, two ambulance crews and a medic in a car to the scene.
"With the first of our medics arriving in under three minutes. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
"Sadly, despite efforts of medics, a woman died at the scene."
