A man was rushed to hospital with leg injuries following a serious car crash in Lee yesterday, ambulances services said. 

Two cars collided outside The Old Tigers Head shortly after 9pm.

A number of fire crews were pictured at the scene. 

A spokesperson from the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at

9.08pm yesterday to reports of a road traffic collision Eltham Road, SE12.

We dispatched an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and our hazardous area response team.

"We treated a man at the scene for leg injuries and took him to hospital."

One person allegedly fled the scene. 

A spokesperson for the police said they were not called to the incident and have had no involvement. 

LFB Greenwich took to twitter to praise the "excellent collaborative work to resolve the incident with our blue light partners."
