Police and firefighters rushed to the scene of a major crash last night (June 9) on Lee High Road, leaving two cars in a very bad state.
According to the emergency services, a major road traffic collision took place outside Lee Green Fire Station, near the Old Tigers Head, around 9pm last night.
One person allegedly fled the scene, and a police helicopter was spotted searching the area.
Firefighters rushed out to help police deal with the crash, in which it appears a black car and a white car collided.
LFB Greenwich took to twitter to praise the "excellent collaborative work to resolve the incident with our blue light partners."
