An estate agency has recently supported the work of Maggies at The Royal Marsden.
The Sutton based agency donated £240 to the charity which will provide eight hours of free counselling for people living with and after cancer.
Maggie’s provides free cancer support for people with cancer and their loved ones, to further enhance The Royal Marsden's care.
A spokesperson for the estate agency, said: "We're a local business, and during the coronavirus outbreak, we wanted to do something for our community.
"A friend of ours made us aware of the great work at Maggie's.
"We love the idea that our small donation could have a big positive impact on someone having to battle cancer by giving free hourly sessions from a trained counsellor.
"Looking after our mental health is vitally important, especially in difficult times."
The head of Maggie’s centre, Bryn Thomas, said: "We are so grateful that they thought of Maggie's.
"Their donation towards our counselling service will benefit people living with cancer who are really struggling at this time."
