Police have charged a Bromley man with attempted murder after a teenager was allegedly hit by a car in Orpington.
Keith Belchamber, 63, of Sweeps Lane, is also charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving in relation to the incident on May 21.
Police said they were called to a collision on Ravenscourt Road at 4:45pm, with officers and ambulance services attending.
A boy in his teens found suffering injuries was rushed to hospital.
A spokesperson for the police said: "A man has been charged following an incident in Orpington on Thursday, May 21.
"Keith Belchamber, 63 (06.12.56) of Sweeps Lane, Bromley, was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and attempted murder.
"He was remanded in custody and appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 23 May.
"He was remanded to next appear at the Central Criminal Court on 19 June."
