A body believed to be of a man who was reported missing yesterday has been found near the Shorne Woods Area.
Leon Junior was reported missing yesterday (May 22), from the St Marks Avenue area of Northfleet at around 12.30 pm.
Kent Police released an appeal at the early hours of this morning, however, have since called off the search after locating a body of a man in an area of woodland close to Shorne Ifield Road Gravesend.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Please be aware that we are no longer appealing for information to locate Leon Junior, who was reported missing from the Northfleet area.
"During the early hours of Saturday, May 23, search teams located the body of a man in an area of woodland close to Shorne Ifield Road, Gravesend.
"Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of Mr Junior, have been informed."
