A man has been taken to hospital with unknown injuries after a member of the public reported him missing from his home in Bexley.
A Bexley man has been taken to hospital following a large police incident on Saturday night, with officers arrested one man in connection with the investigation.
A large police presence was reported around Sevenoaks Way last night, with paramedics, a large number of police officers and a helicopter spotted circling overhead.
Police say they were contacted on May 16 by a member of the public who had concerns for the welfare of a man after he had failed to return to an address in Bexley.
Officers managed to locate the man in Sevenoaks Way in St Paul’s Cray, Orpington where he was found with non life-threatening injuries and taken to hospital for treatment.
Police were reportedly swarming over the street for several hours and directing traffic.
It is not yet known what has happened, but one man has since been arrested in connection with the case.
He has been take to a south London police station where he remains in custody.
