A man have been released from custody as a murder investigation continues into the death of a man in his 40s found outside a house in Dartford on Thursday.

A body was found on Oakfield Lane at 8:18am on May 14, with the victim's wounds consistent with stab wounds.

More details have now been released by Kent Police, who have also confirmed that murder investigation into the incident has been launched.

Police officers were called by the South East Coast Ambulance Service in the early morning after the body of a man in his 40s was discovered outside a property in Oakfield Lane.

A second man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of murder on the same morning, but has now been released from custody on the evening of Friday, May 15.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
