The Met Police said they raided a massive cannabis factory in Woolwich today (May 15), seizing a large amount of the controlled substance in the process.
On Friday evening, a spokesperson for Greenwich MPS revealed further details of the raid and shared photos showing the big cultivating operation they had found, seemingly in a disused industrial space.
A/PS Farrow led officers from the newly formed Violence Suppression Unit this afternoon, acting on fast time intelligence, executing a warrant in Woolwich identifying a large cannabis factory.

The operation involved the Met's Violence Suppression Unit, formed recently in a bid to tackle violent crime in the capital:
"A/PS Farrow led officers from the newly formed Violence Suppression Unit this afternoon, acting on fast time intelligence, executing a warrant in Woolwich identifying a large cannabis factory.
