A motorcyclist was finally arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police after leading them on a chase from Coulsdon to Elmers End in Beckenham yesterday (May 9).
On Saturday morning, around 10.45am, police said they attempted a traffic stop of the motorcyclist on Brighton Road in Coulsdon, Croydon.
Responding to a request from News Shopper, a spokesperson for the Met Police said:
"At approximately 10:45hrs on Saturday, 9 May officer indicated for a motorcycle to stop in on the A23 Brighton Road, Coulsdon.
"The motorcycle did not stop and a pursuit was initiated."

The chase would last for 45 minutes.
The suspect lead police all the way from Coulsdon, across the borough boundary and into Bromley, where the motocyclist was eventually stopped by police in Beckenham.
The chase ended on Elmers End Road, with a police helicopter seen hovering over the vicinity and eye-witnesses reporting a number of police cars in the area.
"At approximately 11:30hrs the motorcycle stopped in Wimborne Way, Elmers End.
"A man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop. He remains in custody.
"Enquiries continue," the Met said.
