Police are searching for a 25-year-old from Abbey Wood as part of an investigation into the attempted murder of a man just after Christmas last year.
The victim, a 33-year-old man, was found in Throwley Close, SE2, with multiple serious injuries which were"sustained during a prolonged attack," the Met said.
Detectives now want to speak to Mookey Grant, a 25-year-old male from the Abbey Wood area described as being white, of slim build, and with medium length wavy brown hair.
Police are appealing for any information that can be used to trace Grant, but warn that he should not be approached if seen. Instead, the public should call 999.
Officers were called to Throwley Close on December 29, 2019, and found the victim suffering from multiple injuries following an attack which police are classing as attempted murder.
He was taken to a south hospital for treatment before being discharged.
Five people were charged in early April in connection with a proactive investigation into the attempted murder.
Police now need to speak to Mookey Grant, who is known to have links across the south-east, including Abbey Wood, Dartford and Maidstone.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 101 quoting reference Cad 5456/2May. Or stay anonymous by contacting the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
