A nurse who fought coronvirus for three weeks received a guard of honor from her colleagues as she was discharged from hospital.
Kunjunjamma Babu, a Sister on Cherry Ward, was admitted to Darent Valley Hospital's Palm Ward on April 12 suffering covid-19 symptoms.
Staff gave her a jubilant send-off, lining the corridors as she left to continue her recovery with family at home.
Kunjunjamma said “I cannot thank my colleagues enough for taking such good care of me.
"I am so happy to be going home and overwhelmed by the guard of honour”.
