A woman reportedly caught shoplifting by police in Dartford has been charged with seven offences after she then allegedly assaulted a shop worker and two police officers.
Dine Cuyela, of Eynsham Drive, Abbey Wood, was arrested by Kent Police on Sunday, April 26.
Officers had been called to a supermarket in Priory Market Place after a suspect had tried to leave with a bottle of wine without paying.
When confronted, the suspect 'deliberately damaged' the bottle and assaulted a shop worker.
Later that afternoon, police officers spoke to Cuyela where she is reported to have assaulted a police constable and a police community support officer.
On top of all that, she was allegedly found in possession of a knife, and damaged a police van.
The 33-year-old has been charged with common assault, two counts of assaulting an emergency worker, two counts of criminal damage, possessing a knife in a public place and theft.
She has been bailed to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 9 June.
