A male has been arrested after a police warrant was issued for his arrest yesterday.

Officers from Met Taskforce arrived at the address in Erith around 5.15 pm yesterday, April 24.

Police were able to locate and arrest the suspect after a female let them into the flat.

Whilst gaining entrance to the property, officers positioned themselves outside the back and witnessed four plastic bags containing 34 snap bags of cannabis being thrown off the balcony. ‬

‪The male and female were arrested for possession with intent to supply a class B drug. ‬

Another man was also arrested for being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug after police answered the door to him asking for cannabis.

A spokesperson for the police said: "Within two hours of a warrant being issued by Woolwich Crown Court, officer's were at an address looking for the wanted male. ‬

‪"After being let into the flat by a female, the wanted male was spotted and arrested. ‬

"As officers were searching the flat for any other evidence, the intercom rang and another male came to the door who stated he was there to buy cannabis. ‬

‪"He was also arrested for being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug."‬
