ICELAND has launched £1 deals on substitutes for some of the nation's most beloved fast food treats.

The supermarket owns the rights to sell official Greggs and Nandos products, but has also launched deals on KFC and McDonalds "fakeaways".

They include Greggs bakes for £1, Nandos for four for £5 and KFC-style fried chicken bundles and McDonalds-style burger bundles both for £5.

The high street's fast food outlets have been closed for nearly a month but Iceland has launched a new series of deals on official Greggs sausage rolls, bakes and melts.

It is selling two sausage and bean melts and two cheese and onion melts for just £1.

The frozen food specialist is the only place to buy official Greggs snacks and it also stocks four packs of the famous sausage rolls.

Iceland is also selling a build your own Nandos capable of feeding four people for £5.

The deal includes chicken breast, Nandos seasoning and sauces, sides and a drink.

The official sauces include Peri Peri sauce and salt.

While Iceland does not sell official KFC but is doing a fried chicken bundle capable of feeding four people for £5.

It includes a choice of chicken thighs, wings or strips as a main, a side including wedges, onion rings and corn, and a drink.

Finally, the supermarket is helping those craving a McDonalds with a burger bundle capable of feeding eight people for £5.

Burgers include chicken, beef and lamb.

The deal also includes toppings and sauces, sides including chips, and buns.
