A drive-through coronavirus testing facility has been set up in a car park next to the O2 Arena in North Greenwich.
It is understood that the testing centre, set up in view of the iconic music venue, has been set up for NHS staff, although it doesn't look fully operational today based on aerial video footage.
The drive-through centre has been set up in close proximity to the ExCel exhibition centre on the other side of the river, which has been transformed in just over a week into a brand new temporary hospital.
NHS Nightingale opens today, April 3, to assist with the predicted spike in Covid-19 patients within the capital over the coming weeks.
The Government has been heavily criticised for a lack of testing, with the UK lagging behind similar European countries such as Germany, and slow progress rolling out new community testing.
Earlier this week, NHS staff were pictured queuing in cars in north London waiting to be testing for coronavirus, and it is hoped this new testing facility will aid efforts.
