Reports of greed, horrendous ques and acts of insanity have taken over news platforms in recent weeks, but kind-hearted community members have launched online platforms to combat stress in light of the virus.
Residents across Bexley have joined forces to create mutual aid groups to help reach out to those in need.
The groups have been inundated with offers and have become a community favourite to members with children, those with health issues and for the elderly.
Together, residents have offered to share resources, walk dogs and pick up medication for those who are self-isolating.
