Police want to identify a man who may have information regarding a possible grand theft auto in Dartford this morning.

At around 8:30am today, Thursday, 19 March, a man reportedly entered a parked car, threatened a woman inside with a knife and then stole the vehicle.

Kent Police have now issued an image of the man and vehicle and are appealing to the public to help find him.

The incident took place this morning in Heath Lane, when a woman sitting in her parked car, a grey Volkswagen Golf, was approached by a man.

The man reportedly opened the car door and threatened the woman with a bladed weapon before pulling her from the vehicle.

The suspect, pictured above, then drove off in the stolen car.
