A man from Abbey Wood has been charged with supplying crack cocaine in Gravesend and possessing a gun and live ammunition.
Kent Police officers carried out a search warrant at an address belonging to Melvin Gambanga in Federation Road, Abbey Wood on Thursday last week, March 12.
They found a quantity of crack cocaine during the search, alongside a handgun and eight live bullets.
Gambanga was arrested later that day, and has now been charged with five different offences.
The 23-year-old was charged with possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply, possessing a prohibited firearm, possessing a firearm when prohibited for five years, possessing ammunition for a firearm without a certificate and acquiring criminal property.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 13, and has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, April 14.
