Emergency services were called to an incident at Lewisham station late last night following "concerns for the welfare of a woman."
Trains between Blackheath and Lewisham were suspended during the incident, but British Transport Police (BTP) have confirmed that the woman has now been taken to place of safety.
According to Southeastern, emergency services were called around 11:30pm last night, March 17, to an incident on the platform at Lewisham station.
Police and ambulance teams quickly handled the situation, and trains returned to normal service at midnight.
A BTP spokesperson said: “Officers were called at 23:32 on 17/03 to Lewisham station following concerns for the welfare of a woman.
"Officers attended and the woman has since been taken to a place of safety.”
