Police are appealing for witnesses in Dartford after a double-decker bus collided with a pedestrian on Saturday night, March 14.

Kent Police and ambulance services were called at around 11:40pm on Saturday to a 'serious collision' on the A226, Highfield Road North.

In a statement, police said a pedestrian and a double-decker bus had been involved in the collision.

A man suffered serious injuries, and has been taken to a London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating the incident and would like to speak to any witnesses who were in the area or on the bus. Motorists with dashcam footage are also asked to get in touch.
