A man has been hospitalised after a crash between a car and lorry in Belvedere this morning.
Firefighters were called to reports of a man trapped by his injuries on Horse Roundabout, Belvedere at 9.27am, today, (March 10).
Two engines from Erith and Bexley fire stations and a fire rescue unit attended the scene.
Firefighters took just under an hour to release the man from the vehicle who was then rushed to hospital by London Ambulance services.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called to an incident on the roundabout junction between Manor Way and Anderson Way in Belvedere.
“One car collided with an articulated lorry.
“Firefighters released one man from a vehicle, who was trapped by his injuries.
“He was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
“The Brigade was called at 0927 and the incident was over for firefighters by 1022."
