Three people have been arrested at Plumstead and Barnehurst stations after police set up weapons arches in their latest disruption operation.
Met officers and British Transport Police stop and searched commuters in south east London on Friday, March 6, arresting two males and a female as part of Operation Avara.
One adult male was arrested for possession of drugs, whilst the second male was found to be in breach of his court curfew.
An adult female was also arrested for possession of a point article (a knife).
The operation is run in conjunction with the BTP's Blackheath Response Team and the Met's South East Command Units Safer Neighbourhoods and special constabulary teams.
The Met has run numerous disruption operations in recent months, hitting Lewisham, North Greenwich, Maze Hill, Plumstead and Sidcup stations, making several arrests.
