A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a 20-year-old was killed and another seriously injured in a car crash in Dartford.
Two cars, a black Vauxhall Meriva and a black Volkswagen Touareg, were involved in a serious crash on East Hill around 11:45pm on Friday, June 28 2019.
A 20-year-old from Dartford was sitting in the passenger's seat in the Meriva at the time of the accident, but was fatally wounded in the crash and died at the scene.
The alleged driver of the Volkswagen Touareg, Ayemhere Godwin Ohue, has now been charged with four offences, including causing death death and serious injury by dangerous driving.
The driver of the Meriva also suffered a serious injury.
On Sunday, February 23 2020 officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit charged Godwin Ohue with causing death by dangerous driving.
The 39-year-old, of Church Road, Greenhithe, has also been charged with causing death by careless driving, causing death by driving a vehicle while uninsured and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has been bailed to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on March 24, 2020.
