Commuters are being advised to check before travelling on both the Southeastern Rail and Woolwich line because of a series of engineering works taking place today.

The Southeastern Rail service will not be running between Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Instead, there will be a bus replacement service that will operate in those areas.

Train services that usually run between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will also be diverted to run via Sidcup.

And some trains on the Woolwich line which normally run between Cannon Street and Cannon Street via Greenwich and Bexleyheath will not run.

There will be a full rush hour service that will run between Slade Green and Cannon Street via Greenwich.

However, some trains on the Woolwich Line will run with 12 coaches.

These services will be unable to stop at Woolwich Dockyard due to a short platform at the station.
