Detectives investigating a shooting in Gravesend believe it was a case of mistaken identity.
The victim, a man in his 40s, is believed to have been shot from a car window outside a property on Shornefield Road at around 9pm on Sunday, February 9.
He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
Detective Inspector, Neil Kimber said: "We believe that this incident was a case of mistaken identity and the victim was not the intended target.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who has information and also anyone driving in the area on 9 February who has dashcam footage from between 7.30pm and 9.30pm who has not yet come forward."
