A man has been charged following a spate of burglaries in Gravesend.

Stefan Adi, 23, was arrested on Tuesday following reports that homes in Brunswick Walk and Suffolk Road had been burgled on February 1 and 4.

A car is reported to have been stolen from the first property and electrical equipment, including a laptop computer and a games console, is reported to have been taken from the second.

Adi, of Darnley Street, has been charted with two counts of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He was remanded in custody and admitted each offence at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday February 12.

He has since been bailed to appear for sentencing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be determined.
