Police are investigating an attempted murder in Shorne, Gravesend after a man in his 40s was left with a gunshot wound on Sunday night.
Kent Police, firearm officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to Shorne Ifield Road on Sunday, February 9, around 9:20pm and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It is believed the offender shot the victim outside a property, firing through the window.
An investigation into the full circumstances surrounding the incident is underway, including establishing whether the victim was the intended target of the shooting.
No arrests have yet been made, but detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating the attempted murder.
