All lines have been blocked through Swanley after a train hit a tree on the tracks.
Passengers are yet to be evacuated from the 2.14pm Faversham to Victoria, none of whom were hurt in the crash, which took place at around 4.15pm.
Network Rail is working alongside Kent fire services to transfer the passengers to another train.
The latest statement reads: We're working with @Se_Railway to send a train up behind this one (slowly!) to allow it to be evacuated.
"We have staff on site, including @BTPKent + @kentfirerescue to help. Thank you to everyone on board for staying cool."
Southeastern have advised passengers not to travel today, as high-speed winds continue to wreak havoc on the transport system.
