An investigation is underway following a fire in Sutton Wednesday morning.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a blaze at a shop with flats above in Brighton Road, Sutton.

Part of a five roomed flat on the third floor and part of a five roomed flat on the second floor were damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The London Fire Brigade was called at 6.30am and the fire was under control by 7.31am. Fire crews from Sutton, Wallington and Mitcham fire stations attended.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
