Police believe a man found with "lacerations to his neck" died after he fell against a door inside a Bromley home.
Officers were called to a residential address on Bromley Common shortly before 3.30am on Saturday morning.
Ambulance staff already at the scene were treating a 55-year-old man suffering "lacerations to his neck", who died after the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
A forensic examination of the premises was conducted. At this stage, police believe the man sustained his injuries by falling against an internal door.
A post mortem was held yesterday, which indicated the death was not suspicious, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
